
Katia Accossato (M.Arch., Ph.D.) is an architect and founding partner of the
ACT architettura office. Her professional work includes prestigious private and public assignments. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic
University of Milan and has performed teaching activities at the Iuav University of Venice, the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH), the Academy of Mendrisio (USI), the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), and the University of Liechtenstein. Professor Accossato organizes and lectures at several conferences and international workshops. Her research currently focuses on space perception theories and the relationship among architecture, body, and mind. She has been the editor of the
Archi journal, promoted by the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA), and has written sixty-five contributions among monographs, edited books, chapters, and papers. Among her extensive publishing production, we might mention the volume
