
Isabella Pasqualini (M.Arch., Ph.D.) is an architect, artist, and scientist with a Ph.D. in architecture and cognitive neuroscience. She is a Lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and a faculty member in the Neuroscience Applied to Architectural Design (NAAD) Master’s Program at the Iuav University of Venice. Her research focuses on the mutual and intimate relationship between body and space using immersive and interactive multimedia with specific attention to the multisensory enhancement of the user’s horizon. For her post-doc project “Visual Touches — Touching Views,” developed in the interdisciplinary Bertarelli Center of Neuroprosthetics at the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne (EPFL), Pasqualini obtained a prestigious grant from the Cogito Foundation (2013). She works as a scientific reviewer, editor, advisor, and expert.
