
Davide Ruzzon (M.Arch.) is an architect who launched in 2000 the Milan-based design office TATuning Arch, aiming to apply neuroscientific principles to architectural design. As for teaching, he founded and directs the Neuroscience Applied to Architectural Design (NAAD) Master’s Program at the Iuav University of Venice, holding lectures in international workshops, seminars, and conferences. Professor Ruzzon is an Advisory Council member of the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture (ANFA). Ruzzon has also collaborated with the Institute of Neuroscience of the National Research Council (IN-CNR) of Italy in Parma, developing research projects about the neurophysiological correlates of architectural experience with Giovanni Vecchiato, Fausto Caruana, Pietro Avanzini, Paolo Presti, and Giacomo Rizzolatti. His extensive editorial production includes the interdisciplinary journal Intertwining (Mimesis International, since 2018), which he created and edited in collaboration with Alessandro Gattara and Sarah Robinson. His latest book is Tuning Architecture with Humans: Neuroscience Applied to Architectural Design (Mimesis International, 2023), accompanied by an introduction by Juhani Pallasmaa.
